Safety Tips:

When creating a me-card try to avoid sharing personal details in the text.

When you set a me-card to public, everyone with a me-card account can see your me-card.

When you set a me-card to private, only people on your friends list can see your me-card.

Be careful who you add to your friends list. If you add too many people that you don't know you might accidentally give away private information.

Me-card.com is a family friendly website. If you see anything that you don't think should be there or if you have any suggestions please send us a message through our contact page. : )

In your settings for your profile, changing your account privacy type will limit the people that can see your account. Users not on your friends list will not be able to view your cards.

When you edit a me-card's details there a few different options at your disposal:

Private: Setting a me-card to private stops people who aren’t on your friends list from seeing it.

Public: Setting a me-card to public allows the card to be linked to myspace or facebook. People not on your friends list can also see these me-cards in your profile, so don’t include any personal details on these cards. People without a me-card account cannot access these me-cards.

Print: Print selected me-card.

E-mail: E-mail this me-card to friends or generate code to display on myspace, facebook or your blog. A copy of the me-card is generated for the purpose of the e-mail and expires after a week. If you delete your me-card in your profile this copy will still be active fro the remainder of the week, then it is deleted.

Save to PC: Save this image to your computer Harddrive. This is a good option if you want to back up your me-cards on your computer, then you can delete them from your profile on me-card.com.

Delete: Deletes your me-card from the server. We do not keep a copy of it after you delete it unless you've emailed it to your friends, in which case the copy will be deleted within a week.
